The shade fabric is PVC-coated fiberglass, which makes them easy to clean and durable as well. These window shades are great for windows that get a lot of direct sun/heat because the roll-up shades will not block the view. Sun control shades will filter direct sunlight and heat while still providing a view to the outside. These Solar shades have a 5% openness factor, so they are not completely private, and you will be able to see through them from the outside. Sun shades are best for areas such as sunrooms, patios, and other rooms where complete privacy is not needed but sun and heat control is. These shades are energy efficient and will block heat and cold while still providing a view. When these window shades are raised completely they almost disappear entirely. Please Note: Corner joints have been redesigned to enable a 'push fit' engagement therefore screws are now only required on units over 1.75 square metres. Even though the screw holes are present in the universal corner joint you will not need them for units below this size.
